Meet Dr. Sam McKinney, DDS

Dr. Sam McKinney grew up in Hastings, Minnesota, where he graduated from Hastings High School before earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2024. After dental school, Dr. Sam completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Oregon Health & Science University, where he trained in IV moderate sedation and gained valuable experience caring for medically complex patients and individuals with special needs in both clinical and operating room settings.

Dentistry has been in Dr. Sam’s family since 1959, and he’s proud to carry that legacy to Siren, Wisconsin. He is passionate about building lifelong relationships through trust, compassion, and personalized care. Having grown up around family dentistry, Dr. Sam understands how meaningful patient bonds can span generations, positively influencing both oral health and overall well-being. He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and creating a welcoming environment where people of all ages feel respected and valued.

Outside the office, Dr. Sam enjoys biking, skiing, watersports, and hunting, and he often spends his free time exploring the outdoors. He looks forward to becoming a trusted, consistent presence in the community and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles for life.
